I leave Adelaide for Sweden again this morning. My flights this time are actually really good I go direct to KL and then amsterdam, so I don’t have to put up with any of that weird hand luggage bollox.
I’ll be back until december… don’t hold your breath for a blog, because it probably won’t […]

Wow, I am so lazy.
So much that you’re going to get an update… in dot point form! – Went to Budapest, it was nice. – Went to Dubrovnik in Croatia, it was even nicer. – Finished all my school work in Sweden for the Semester. – Got sunburned. – Decided to stay in Sweden until […]

Sorry it’s been so long- thought you should all get an update!
2 weeks ago David took me to his parents’ house in a little town called Västerås, which was awesome. Great food, friendly family, nice weather. It was really nice to have a change of scenery.
I can’t really remember what happened in the 2 weeks […]

It’s not every day that you’re woken up on a train by an announcement that you’re about to cross the arctic circle. It was at that moment that I thought to myself (in a half-asleep daze) “Shit. It’s going to be cold”.
And I was right. It was cold.
Our first stop was the ice hotel (pictures […]

Greetings!
This week has been pretty busy, but the business is all relative to not doing much hard work for the past few months. Oh how I long for a timetable where there’s something nasty due every week so I get used to working hard again!
If nothing else, this week has served the purpose of being […]

Greetings once again!
So! I’ve decided to try and make blogging a weekly thing on Sundays… so hopefully I’ll stick to that.
This week has been great! Yesterday we had a BBQ in the snow, where I thought my feet were going to freeze! It’s pretty cold here at the moment, but i’ve only managed to have […]

Hiyo!
Sorry it’s been so long! My life for the past month has been a combination of busy, busy and busy. Not hectic busy- more too entertained doing things other than blogging here!
Considering way too much has happened here over the past month to even begin telling you all of it, i’ll summarise the past month […]

Hej,
Well, this time next month I’ll hopefully be blogging from Sweden (quite a scary thought).
As far as preparation is concerned, I’ve done as much as I can. My student visa is still awaiting approval, but there’s no use me worrying about that anymore.
Anyway, here’s my flight itinerary for the Sweden Trip:
Wed 4th January:
Melbourne–>Singapore (I’m catching […]

Wow, It’s been 50 days. Seems like such a huge number. I’m really looking forward to sleeping at home, wearing shorts and a singlet, thongs and swimming pools. All the little things. It’s time to come home.

Before I tell you about my adventures today I should backtrack a bit, because it’s been a few days since i’ve written here.

It’s cold.
Very cold.
It got down to minus 3 degrees last night, so as you can imagine I was a little hesitant to go outside in fear of loosing a few minor limbs to frostbite.
Believe it or not, there were cars driving down the street outside our house that were entirely covered in frost. I think […]

Greetings from the Northern Hemisphere once again.
Scotland is amazing. I feel that I was born to live here, as everyone is very friendly and the weather is arctic. I’ve been told (much to my disappointment) that it does not snow in Edinburgh itself- it just gets incredibly cold to the point of making you wonder […]

I was very excited checking my bank account the other day to find that I was a lot better off for funding than I thought I was. Wow, I mustn’t have been doing as much shopping as I thought.

After breakfast this morning we decided to do some sightseeing. We did, however, get to see inside the german occupation museum, guernsey aquarium, […]
